Active participation in a Master’s program for psychology, counseling, social work, family therapy, or a related field
Completion of a Bachelor’s degree
Desire to work with adolescents who have engaged in sexually harming behaviors
Strong writing skills
Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of approximately 4-6 clients. Caseload comprised of probation-involved youth who have committed sexual offenses and general therapy referrals (children, adolescents, and/or adults with varying presenting problems)
Co-facilitate a sex-specific treatment group with occasional psychoeducational material and skill-building
Complete diagnostic assessments
Document session notes
Develop individual treatment plans and update quarterly
Complete written progress review reports for court-involved youth
Participate in clinical consultation and staff meetings
Students work approximately 20 hours per week (Monday – Friday). Schedules are flexible and will be based on student and agency needs
